As the "season" draws to a close and our friends are up and leaving who will we play pickleball with?
Anyway, we decided to get together for a potluck brunch and Mitch made his waffles and enjoyed his Mimosa.
The food was great but the company was better. Pickleball players make wonderful friends.

Happy Easter and Happy Birthday, Keith
We decided to fore go the Easter dinner at the club house and had a great meal for the six of us, Gene, Keith, Marie, Nel, Mitch, and me. So Keith made a wonderful appetizer, puff pastry filled with crab, lobster, and shrimp, with a decadent sauce over the top. Then we had Mitch's French onion soup, and for our entree Mitch grilled a beef tenderloin and asparagus, and he made Jason's truffle scalloped potatoes. It was all very yummy and we enjoyed eating and each other's company for our four hour long dinner.
To celebrate Keith's birthday, Marie made the very chocolatey and moist Black Joe Cake, a recipe from Keith's mom. Oh, was that good!

Time in Orlando
We do keep busy, the saying goes "we don't have time to work"!
My mornings start with a three mile walk in the clubhouse to the Walk Fit video. Good exercise. Mitch is usually out playing pickleball.
After walking, I do line dancing. We dance every day so I actually learn some of the dances. It's great fun! Mitch is still out playing pickleball.
Usually it's brunch time after the morning busyness unless a bunch of us head out for a little lunch and a good time.
Afternoons we hang out at the pool, get our running around done, or just take it easy. Sometimes I clean the house!!
After an early dinner, we're back for the evening pickleball games. We play for a couple of hours and then hit the hot tub.
Just a day in our life at Orlando.
This turtle is our neighbor. We also had a new born calf right behind the coach the other day, and the sand hill crane family is still hanging out.

Happy 2nd Birthday, Rylan
Happy Birthday, Rylan!
What a fun little guy to have around. He is quite the talker and loves to read and draw and especially loves "Brother". He also likes Grampa an awfully lot. To him, anything blue is "Thomas", green is "Percy", and red is "James", he is definitely into Thomas the Train.
Playing on the new birthday toys.
Looks like he enjoyed his birthday dinner!
