Mom's Birthday Party

The 90th Birthday Party for Mom was a great hit.
Over 100 family and friends attended and kept Mom busy all afternoon with great conversation.

Bob and Jo, great friends who rode with us from Minnesota to Iowa for great conversation, and then worked their buns off helping at the party--did I say great friends! We ended the day with a popcorn supper after our drive home!

Ahh, up north!!

Sunday turned out sunny and warm (somewhere in the 50's) and our Mother's Day Brunch was made by the guys. We had a really great day and ended with our burger cookout and eating on the deck.

We were very saddened, however, by the death of Jim's mom, Agnes (Sarah's grandma), Saturday night. Aggie was a wonderful lady with a great sense of humor and the capacity to discuss just about anything. We'll greatly miss her.

Everyone's gone and Mitch is enjoying the end of the day.

Addy's Up North Birthday Party

Addy will be three years old on May 11, so she helped make pizzas for her Up North birthday party. She makes really good pizza!!








Daddy decorated her "Cabin" Birthday Cake and she blew out the candles.

Up North Minnesota

After a couple of days in the Cities, we moved to our campspot on Big Sandy Lake. We were surprised to find some pretty beautiful morel mushrooms right under and next to where we park our motorhome! It made for some mighty tasty grilled Mushroom Swiss Burgers on Sunday night!







We were also surprised to drive into snow and had a couple inches on the ground. This is our front yard, green grass and leaves from the warmest April on record, and snow. Looking out over the lake was very pretty.









Until the cabin got warmed up Addy got to play at Grampa's motorhome and she really liked Thomas and the train tracks. She brought her train, Rosie, to run the track also.

Back to the girls!

After a quick visit with Mitch's mom in Iowa we head to the Twin Cities to see the girls (I guess we get to see the big kids too, but the grandbabies were calling!) We got to watch Addy at gymnastics where see likes the trampoline the best.








Macy will try to climb into her high chair when she's hungry and is a perfect little entertainer. She likes to do whatever Addy does!

Although she didn't get any, we did celebrate Cinco de Mayo with a wonderful Mexican dinner Mitch, Shayne, and Sarah put together and it was fun to have Bryan and Stacy over to help eat and make the conversation all the more fun.

On our way home we stopped in the St. Louis area to visit my Dad who is 89 and although in pretty good physical shape is suffering from dementia. It was good to see him again.

Online Campers 2010

We all (26 rigs of all sorts from all over) met in Sevierville, TN for a week of getting together, eating, catching up, meeting new friends, eating, dancing, singing, eating, eating, and everything fun. Everybody is welcome and the price beats any rally you have ever gone to. Ask us for details for next year!! We've already made our reservations!

Some fun included Don's fresh New Orleans shrimp boil, Mitch's BBQ ribs, Thanksgiving dinner, Christmas, new puppies from the Flea Market, shopping, golfing, line dancing, karoke, a few happy hours, Brown Bag Auction, music over the mountain, and on and on which all made the week go very fast!! (PS--Johnny Depp's Dad and Mom were even there! Nice people!)
