January 31--Happy 3rd Birthday, Brayden

Happy Birthday, Brayden. I hope you had a very good day.

Sunday

Good Morning, Mommy and Daddy. We are playing restaurant. It is a great game!

Masayda and Cassian came to have a pizza party and play for a while. We all had a lot of fun!

And somewhere in all the commotion we check out Macy and here she is--all smiles and standing up all by herself as big as you please. "See what I can do when nobody is watching!"

Check out how far she is from the exersaucer and what direction she's facing--how did she get there!!? I'm sure that the toy she's holding on to helped her a lot! What a cutie!!

A Week with the Girls

Addy and Macy waved bye-bye to Mommy and Daddy and here I am spending a week in sunny Minnesota (so what there's a foot of snow on the ground)!

Our morning went well, and so did nap time--only Addy decided to make a house for all her "friends" and I'm sure that's why she just couldn't get to sleep!

Like I said, it was sunny outside, so out we went. Those little button noses turned red in no time but the girls (and Kaiser) had a good time!

A Week with Brayden

Caryn and Jason are taking a well earned vacation this week. We dropped them off at the cruise ship at the Port of Yourami (as Brayden calls Miami).

We've been busy. One day Roger launched a home made rocket (sitting atop the little stack) and Brayden thought it was the best. His best book this week is Hedgie Blasts Off and he liked wearing his rocketship jammies.

He is always on the go and thinking. I was writing a little shopping list and he taps me and says, "Write down airplane."

Christmas revisited

Our gift for the gift exchange at the RV Park Christmas party was dinner! Roger and Christyan (at the end of the table) and Mimi and ReJean picked the "lucky" bags. Mitch decided to make a Chinese dinner and we all enjoyed potstickers, egg rolls, hot and sour soup, Peking duck with sesame roll sandwiches, and stir fried vegetables and rice.

We had a great time and even though Mimi speaks no English, the other three, with their improving English, kept her in the loop and we had great table conversation. Of course the accent makes life interesting, for example, Roger was saying my egg rolls were different (and much better) than they have in Quebec where they are made with garbage. Garbage, I exclaimed with a question mark. No, he repeats, cabbage!!

Winter Welcome--Not Here!!!

First things first--Happy Birthday, Sarah! We hope this year brings all the best to you. We love you!

Then, my little January flag says Winter Welcome and I'm thinking the weather is taking this seriously! We are in southern (way south) Florida and we've had the furnace on every night for a week! Temps have dipped to 35 degrees at night and up to 59 degrees during the day. That is NOT Florida weather! We want our sunny 80 degree days back!!!!

Happy New Year's

As the new year begins we wish all of our friends and family good health, good times, and a year filled with the bounties of God's blessings.

We started the year with New Year's well wishing and mimosas in front of the "White House" with the RV park friends. They love to party!

Caryn and Brayden spent New Year's Eve with us, and Brayden continued to enjoy the company of all our RV Park friends. He even got to hold Tango, the talking parrot.
