Eating in Style

One day Mitch decided to experiment with the Squid Ink Fetticini that we had purchased on a trip with Marilyn and Jerry in Texas. He sauted this wonderful vegetable sauce and added mussels and shrimp. Then it all went in the black fetticini. It was beautiful! Served with a side of artichoke--very tasty!

We invited Harry and Karen for the tasting experiment and it was so good Karen ate everything on her plate and I almost forgot to take a picture of it!

Hollywood Studios--Disney

We spent a day at Hollywood Studios in Disney (the old MGM) and remembered the sights and sounds of Indiana Jones and the Raiders of the Lost Ark. However, the new stuff is a lot of fun.
We did the Tower of Terror, a elevator freefall that lifts you off your seat. Turned out to be fun! And the newest is the American Idol--a spinoff of the real show.

Life isn't all fun and games!

But we have to be thankful that we still have the ability to climb the ladder and that the sun shines on only one side of the motorhome at a time. Mitch also learned to pace himself so the waxing job isn't too tiring!! Check out that shine!!!

Thought the backyard view of the cows grazing and the sand hill cranes pecking for food was relaxing.

Back at Orlando

We are back at Thousand Trails Orlando and the weather is fantastic--about 80 to 85 degrees--perfect for hitting Blizzard Beach, a Disney water park.

We had fun floating down the lazy river and riding the tubes on some interesting runs! A great day to soak up some sun!

Monaco PreRally--Moultrie

The full moon found us parked in Moultrie, GA with 274 other coaches. We worked at the gate greeting every coach as it came in.

The weather was great--it didn't rain.

And of course eating and

hanging out consumed much of our time.

Happy Birthday, Granny

Here's to you Mom! Happy 89th Birthday!!

A Week with Jim and Carol

Caryn and Brayden joined us at the beginning of the week and we started off by visiting Animal Kingdom Lodge where Brayden pointed out the giraffes and other animals to Grampa.

We spent a day in St. Augustine, the oldest city in the U.S. We visited the fort and St. George street for a day of fun!

Notice the coats. It's terrible that the Minnesotans come to Florida and have to keep on the jackets. We did end up with a couple of nice days to sit out and enjoy the sun.
