We journeyed north to the Jacques Cartier National Park about 45 minutes away and had a delightful walk through the woods. Along the Cascades trail we found mushrooms and then more mushrooms and the walk became a mushroom scavenger hunt. We found some great mushrooms! The rest of the sights and sounds were great too.
We got home in time for Mitch and Gilles to make a pasta with fish sausage that we had purchased on our visit to the Ile de Orleans. Our friends from Florida, Christyane and Roger joined us for dinner. It was great to see them.
All is all our visit to Quebec was all that we could have asked for. The weather was so good that everything we did was more enjoyable. And we found the people of Quebec very willing to speak English and were all as nice as could be. Thanks to Francine and Gilles for a delightfully planned adventure!
